Zimbabwe's blunt strike force needs a miracle against Ghana

Zimbabwe are aiming for to get their FIFA World Cup campaign back on course when they lock horns against group favourites Ghana this evening. Kick off is at 6pm South African time.

After a goal less draw against South Africa, Zimbabwe went on to dismally lose against Ethiopia. In both matches Zimbabe failed to score even though they created numerous chances upfield.

The lack of goals against defence frailed teams like Ethiopia has left many fans wondering if Zimbabwe shall be able to pick up and score against defending powerhouses Ghana.

The Warriors will heavily rely on skipper Knowledge Musona, who has scored more goals for his nation than any other active player, leading the way in attack.

Their other two strikers have not been actively involved at their respective clubs.

Knox Mutizwa (Golden Arrows) and Terrence Dzukamanja (Orlando Pirates) have both been used as substitute players at their clubs.
