Kylian Mbappe is just another striker to Bafana goalkeeper?
Bafana Bafana is set to face France in their next international friendly match, and France has some of the best strikers in the world added to their national football team. PSG's Kylian Mbappe is one of the best strikers in the world and is one of France most deadliest forwards.
A striker like Kylian Mbappe will have any goalkeeper shaking in his boots, but Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams feels he's just another player, and Bafana Bafana will not focus on him but in the whole team, as they have a star cast of quality players.
According to Williams the match against France will be a challenge for South Africa, but the challenge will be a good learning experience and they not bothered with the talent of Kylian Mbappe or any of the other players in the France team as they doing this for the challenge and experience.
Williams said that the Bafana Bafana squad has qualities and they should believe in it and everything will be fine if they stick to their structure. Ronwen Williams is a very strong goalkeeper if a striker like Kylian Mbappe is of no threat to him.
“He’s one of the best players in the world at the moment, but it’s a challenge for us, one that the players are looking forward to.
“We want to give a good account of ourselves. We don’t focus on him; we focus on the whole team.
“We’ll go out there and believe in our qualities. If we stick to our structure, everything should be fine for us,” Ronwen Williams said during a press conference.
Kylian Mbappe is a good striker, but Ronwen Williams also has a point as Mbappe is just another striker, if goalkeepers were to be afraid of strikers then they are all useless to their respective clubs. Kylian Mbappe might be good but so is Ronwen Williams as a goalkeeper.
