Although Kajally Drammeh joined City in February, the transfer window had already closed when he signed for them, therefore he was unable to play for them immediately after making his move.

Immediately that the new season's transfer window is open, City has officially registered Drammeh, which means that he may now begin training for the forthcoming campaign.

City claims that Drammeh, who was born in Gambia 18 years ago, will don the No. 7 jersey when he plays for the team. It has been confirmed by Cape Town City that Kajally Drammeh will be officially eligible to play in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) beginning on July 1, 2022. This signing sets a new club record.
