PSL's football fraternity were spoiled with some nail-biting action this past weekend but many were surprised to hear that Chippa United have sacked Dan Malesela again after recent string of bad results.
The 55-year-old was shown the exit door by the Chilli boys shortly after his side were given a 5-1 thrashing by the Team Of Choice in a contest that was rather one way traffic.
Malesela took over the hot seat at Chippa in December in what was his fifth stint at the club as the head coach and his departure was confirmed by a source inside the club when he said he's packing belongings and is on his way to the airport.
However there were good news for the Chilli boys last night as it was confirmed that Luc Eyamel is the new Technical advisor for the club with assistant coach Gwambi been given the boost to be the interim head coach as they continue to hunt for a suitable candidate that can take over the hot seat on a full time basis.
The Chilli boys released a statement yesterday announcing the appointment of Luc Eyamel and the departure of Dan Malesela as they seek to get back to winning ways and avoid relegation this season.
