Khuliso Mudau, of Mamelodi Sundowns, has established himself as one of the best right backs in South Africa, both for Sundowns and the country as a whole. Mudau recently earned a call-up to the national team and was included to Hugo Broos' roster.
"I'm actually not surprised that he's so highly regarded." According to Masutha, his previous coach.
"I had the pleasure of working with the young man; he is an intelligent player who never complains."
The former Black Leopards defender has been dubbed capable of matching the standards set by the late Sizwe Mataung if he maintains his current level of excellence.
"He possesses all of the characteristics necessary to claim and occupy that position, just like the late Sizwe Motaung did," Masutha said.
Mudau is vying for the right back spot with Thapelo Morena, who has also performed admirably when given the opportunity; the two are considered to be pushing one other to greater heights.
