Happy Jele Keen to Stay at Orlando Pirates as His Contract Nears End

Orlando Pirates captain Happy is Jele keen to stay at the club as his contract nears it's end.

Jele is among of Pirates players whose contracts are set to expire at the end of the season.

The player recently extended his stay with the club last year in June by a further year.

Jele has been struggling for game time this season with injuries being a main obstacle to his progress at the club and that might affect the club's decision when deciding his future.

A source close to the player has revealed that Jele still wants to remain with the club because he still believe that he can go all the way despite being 35-years old.

The source added that the sad part about Jele's situation at the club is that it is not up to him to decide to stay with the club as there are many people involved and the future of the club has to be considered as well.

The source added that the arrival of Olisa Ndah made things difficult for the player because the club has young and fresh talent.

Jele is currently the club's longest serving player after joining the club since he was still young.
