Chiefs Reports: Top 5 PSL strikers that Baxter should sign, since the Letsoalo deal is failing

Kaizer Chiefs are still yet to sign any player this current January transfer season. This is worrying for the Chiefs' hopefuls since they know that the Soweto giants doesn't have any depth. And they got exposed during the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak at Naturena that had of their players on quarantine. There was hope that Amakhosi will bring a few faces to strengthen the squad and create the healthy competition within players. One major position that needed attention is the strikers' department since Chiefs have been unfortunate in their attack. Hence, Stuart Baxter has been expected to go to the transfer market with a simple game plan of finding a goal poacher.

That's when the Royal AM attacker Victor Letsoalo has been heavily linked with a move to Naturena within the past few weeks. However, the negotiations have took longer than normal. It seems like Chiefs will have to break the bank for the services of Letsoalo since Royal AM will not easily go of their most prized player. Also, the talks took a left turn when the Durban-based outfit said that Amakhosi will have to millions to get the signature of Bafana Bafana star. This makes you wonder if he's for sale or not since Royal AM isn't making it easy for the Soweto giants.

Now, has came up with best five DStv Premiership strikers that they can try to lure to Naturena. The transfer window will be shut down on January 31 and Amakhosi will have work around the time to bolster their attack. According to reports, Chiefs can still sign the Stellenbosch FC youngster Ashley Du Preez as he will bring in that much needed pace up front. As he has the ability to constantly do counter attack. Du Preez can hold the ball as he's moving forward and can easily prove assistance to his team mates. Other strikers that can move Amakhosi include Cape Town City FC on form attacker Fragrie Lakay, Sekhukhune United's Chibuike Ohizu, Bienvena Eva Nga from Chippa United and Bradley Grobler from SuperSport United.
