Barcelona played their latest fixture in the Spanish La liga against Cadiz at home, and unfortunately drew the match 1-1 in the end after Cadiz scored a last minute penalty in the match. Barcelona who had the home ground advantage managed to take the lead in first half, all thanks to Lionel Messi for acing his penalty goal giving Barcelona the lead. Barcelona held onto that lead for the entire match, but failed in the last minutes as they gave away a very late penalty which Alex Fernández managed to put in the back of the net to level on 1-1.

Barcelona opened the scoring early in the 32nd minute of the match as Lionel Messi scored from the penalty spot as Barcelona leads the match at 1-0. Barcelona failed to defend their lead as Cadiz levelled the score on 1-1 after Alex Fernández scored from the penalty spot to level. Barcelona and Cadiz drew the match 1-1 at full-time as Barcelona takes one point from their home fixture.
