There has been a steady stream of departures from the Blues this summer under new owner Todd, who only a month ago successfully purchased the club from Roman Abramovich.
They haven't lost anyone from their starting midfield, but next summer, when Jorginho and Kante's contracts expire, they will see a decline.
This summer, the attacking third, over which Tuchel presides, will suffer. Moroccan captain Hakim Ziyech seems to be on the outs as well after losing Lukaku, who opted to return to Inter Milan on loan. Ziyech has stated that he would be happy to sign with a certain club if they came calling.
The Moroccan has been quite successful with Chelsea since joining the club from Ajax Amsterdam in 2020.
The boy from Twete appeared in 23 games for Tuchel's Chelsea last season, scoring seven goals. Three different goals in nine Champions League games were aided by his contributions.
However, Ziyech reportedly wants out of his 5-year contract with Chelsea by the third year.
According to a tweet from AC Milan sporting director Fabrizio Romano, talks have begun between the club and Hakim Ziyech's agency about Ziyech joining the Italian club this summer.
Ziyech has expressed his willingness to join the gang and has already made preparations to do so.
"Hakim Ziyech's representatives have already spoken with AC Milan's management. Chelsea and Tuchel have indicated a willingness to let Ziyech leave the club in order to join Milan, and the player has expressed a desire to do so.
AC Milan has been interested in Ziyech for quite some time, and talks are set to continue in the near future." Those were his tweets.
