Through information obtained we have since had the privilege to learn that this garment which resembes a knee length skirt is usually worn by Scottish men and boys.
In addition, on the day, the former Kaizer Chiefs defensive midfielder also opted for a kilt jacket and as well as knee length socks to complete his attire. As of late we have since had the privilege to learn that the former Kaizer Chiefs jersey number 20 is not the only retired footballer in South Africa who was once captured wearing a kilt.
A few months ago, retired Kaizer Chiefs centre back defender Valery Nahayo who is currently based in Belgium was also spotted wearing a kilt in an airport. In addition, in 2014, retired Orlando Pirates forward turned head coach Benni McCarthy was also captured wearing a kilt when he wedded Scottish model Stacey Munro.
On the day, the all time leading goalscorer of Bafana Bafana with 31 strikes to his name also opted for a kilt jacket and knee length socks to complete his wedding attire.
