Why Tso Vilakazi Kept on Screaming - Sundowns vs Maniema

Football is an emotional game especially when there is a turning point during the game. Tso Vilakazi could not hold back when AS Maniema Union scored 2 minutes before the final whistle during Caf Championship league fixture.

Sundowns did not get a walk over of a team in DR Congo. they had to dig deep to get a draw against Maniema. Sundowns last coupler games have managed to keep a clean sheet. but it wasn't to be against Maniema as the game ended 2-2.

Sundowns were leading 2-1. However just toward the end of second half Maniema equalised to make it 2-2.

Tso Vilakazi said i was screaming before the goal. look at Rivaldo, look at Rivaldo,

Two Maniema player were interchanging the ball in front of the box.

Lebusa and Brian tried to cover the defence. When the final pass was played to one of Maniema's player. I screamed look at Revaldo he is not closing the attacker down,he was slow to close down the Maniema player he said.

Maniema player had time to receive the ball, trapped the ball, picked the spot and scored from outside the box.

Tso Vilakazi said Rivaldo was having a difficult game. he was supposed to be substituted at the beginning of second half. Maniema. players were too strong and quick for him.

Vilakazi came in second half he does not start most games for Sundowns. Tso Vilakazi was worried about his speed given how quick the opponents are.

However because of his intelligence it payed off for Sundowns.

When he attacked the near post many thought he will make a cross but he intelligently played it back to Zwane who scored the second goal.

The game was played in an artificial ground which was bit heavy for Sundowns carpet football. This also gave Sundowns a bit of a challenge as they struggle to keep another clean sheet. They will be hoping for better results in the second leg.
