Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns striker Kenny Niemach has surprised many South Africans by joining United Independent Movement (UIM) party headed by Neil de Beer and will contest the Ward 31 (Boksburg) constituency in Ekurhuleni when ballots are cast on November 1.

He believes that change need to done in his community and it will take more than keeping quiet and folding arms but attend to it.

"I’m merely exercising my constitutional right in partaking in the change that should have come a long time ago,"

The 49 year old has managed to write a successful career since 1993 afternoon joining D'alberton Callie before joining the likes of Manning Rangers, Spurs, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

He registered 50 goals in his entire career even if looked promising, maybe he has already planned his future after all because he's been involved in his community helping where he can.
