Done deals, new contracts signed

One of the challenges clubs faces in January transfer window, is to try and keep their key players whose contracts are expiring at the end of the season. We have seen the situation of AmaZulu FC and Siyethemba Sithebe how difficult it got. AmaZulu FC has now resigned to try convincing the player to stay at the club. This is a lesson to clubs to work on contract extension early. Teams always work against time when they see it is January transfer window, and players whose contracts are expiring in six months time could sign pre-contracts with other teams. AmaZulu FC has now tied down two of their key players. Veli Mothwa and Makhehleni Makhaula have reportedly signed new contracts extension with AmaZulu FC.

A source told Siya Crew that "Makaula and Mothwa are happy at AmaZulu. There was never any doubt about their future. They are staying and both have agreed on new deals, the club will make an announcement in due time." Do you feel for AmaZulu FC on their situation with Siyethemba Sithebe?
