Kaizer Chiefs Makes Room For Their Deadly Striker Target?

Kaizer Chiefs Makes Room For Their Deadly Striker Target?

Date: 20/01/2022

Kaizer Chiefs has been linked with quite a few impressively talented football individuals in the January transfer window, and is reportedly set to make room in their foreign quota to bring in another foreigner in the place of those who are making their way out of the club. Word is that Kaizer Chiefs will look to offload or loan out one foreign player to make room for their deadly striker target who is also a foreign player.

According to Fifa rules and regulations, each club is only allowed to have 5 foreign players in their squad. According to sources Kaizer Chiefs will look to make room for their reported target by sacrificing one of their current foreign players with Lazarous Kambole said to be the player making way and room for the reported target.

Lazarous Kambole had an unsuccessful stint with Kaizer Chiefs as he has made a whopping 42 appearances for the club finding the back of the net only twice. Lazarous Kambole plays as a forward/striker, but his statistics for the club does not resemble his position. A striker usually scores goals as that is what the position is all about, but Kambole's scoring stats looks more like that of a defender.

Kambole played only 5 minutes for Chiefs this season, but added a goal to his name in that 5 minutes which is the only good thing that happened to Kambole this season to date. According to reports, Chiefs will be looking at bringing in a striker who can offer more goals for the club, with Kambole being sacrificed in the process as he could be making his way either out of the club permanently or on loan.

Kaizer Chiefs reportedly has their eyes set on Ethiopian striker Abubeker Nasir Ahmed who is a deadly striker as he scored 29 goals last season in the Ethiopian Premier League and ended the season as the league's topscorer. Ahmed could be in soon as the Zambian Kambole could be making his way out.
