Many soccer fans will like to see legends being involved in the game of football whether through media, administration or any how. We love to see them share their wisdom to guide us in the right direction. However they take longer to get involved or some they fail to realise their dreams to contribute after they have retired. Some will even question that we are not making great progress because the legend are not involved. The likes of Didier Drogba tried to bid to be the president of Ivory Cost FA but he failed.
Teko has been changing the narrative since he was a player, he says he wants to raise the bar high like he did when he was playing soccer.
He draws a lot of inspirational from Robert Marawa. He revealed something, he never told anyone before that Marawa gave him an advice to join Supersport channel as a soccer analyst. He wants to do better than him as a sports presenter.
He also has a dream of becoming the president at SAFA. He believes the legends of the game should be given a chance like they did in Cameroon by giving an opportunity to former Chelsea player Samuel Eto'o. Who is currently the president of Cameroonian Football Federation.
He insist football legends are not only good at kicking the ball, but they are smarter than that. It is about time they are taken seriously and be included in high position in football.
He insist than many former players deserve to be included in administration position even if it they are not included as a president.
We should not wait for a former player to turn 60 before we recruit him into a high position in administration. He must go in young like Samuel Eto in Cameroon.
