We have often heard stories about players going AWOL. The likes of Ex-Chiefs player Jabu Mahlangu will often disappear just before an important game. This can be a very stressful situation especially for the club and fans alike as they will be worried whether the player is fine or not. Scara Ngobese also used to disappear back then while playing for Chiefs.
Chiefs will often put out an announcement in search of his whereabouts. This days anything can happen. Cases of kidnapping and Human trafficking have also spiked in the country. It is not a difficult thing to pick up a phone and inform your loved one about your whereabouts.
According to a report Pirates star have disappeared yet again. Mosele went AWOL again before an important fixture which saw Pirates win by 3-0 against Stellenbosch. It is not known yet why he disappeared.
It is not the first time he did this. "Bafana" coach was also worried about Mosele after not showing up for national team camp. His former team Baroka were also worried as they had high hopes for the star player after starting like a house on fire for Pirates.
Mosele has not maintained a regular place in the starting line up since his first incident. He made it into the starting eleven when Pirates locked horns with Diables Noirs in african inter-club competition back in October 24. He was last seen on the match squad list when Pirates met Royal AM. He missed 5 consecutive games including Pirates last match in Africa against LPRC Oilers.
The Soweto giant now has another headache of investigation the latest incident regarding the player's behavior. They will be hoping to make an informed decision regarding Mosele.
Effort to contact Mosele proved to be fruitless. Pirates will lock horns with Baroka on Thursday. It will be interesting to see whether he will make the squad list for the fixture.
