It has been yet another interesting matchday in the DStv Premiership as action resumed. Every season new talismen emerge and challenge for the top goal scorer award, however consistency is key when it comes to football and not many have this quality. There's definitely been a shortage of lethal strikers in recent times in the PSL, Peter Shalulile is the closest thing.
This star has had a blistering start to the season and already has 3 goals to his name. He certainly stands a chance of going for the golden boot and that's if he doesn't choke along the way. He has revived his career in Pretoria after spending the most of his career with Orlando Pirates where he had really become stagnant. Fans love him for his personality and humor, this is another things he doesn't disappoint with.
Thamsanqa Gabuza got on the scoresheet once more in the game against Maritzburg United on Saturday. Fans hyped up the star to keep scoring and this is mainly because of his hilarious goal celebrations. He continued where he left off with his 'Bopha' and also added more comical moves and many were left in stitches.
Social media has been begging him to be consistent and it looks like we are going to see a lot of his celebrations in the current season. Thamsanqa Gabuza is a goal poacher of note and he can provide the goals when he is in the right space. He looks to be enjoying life at Supersport and it was probably the best decision for his career.
He will be back in action next Saturday and the pressure will certainly be on his shoulders to atleast score a single goal. This will be great motivation for him and will ultimately help his team. They are currently among the top teams in the early stages of the season and they will be thinking about competing for the title. Teams will be gunning for Mamelodi Sundowns once more as they have emerged as the early favorites and it will be a tough task to dethrone them.
