Nowadays we live in a world where death has become an everyday thing because of the pandemic, Covid-19, which has invaded our lives since 2019 and has since terrorized us. So far across the world, we have lost more than 10 million of our brothers and sisters due to this deadly virus which keeps on showing a different variant after every six or seven months.

Kaizer Chiefs Football Club like the rest of the clubs across the world has also been affected by this virus, as the club was forced to close down their village in Naturena back in December 2021 due to the outbreak of the virus which saw 39 people at the club test positive for the virus.
The club has suffered another blow due to this virus, as one of their loyal supporters Nkanyiso Mathamba has lost his life due to covid-19 related complications.
We would like to take this opportunity and offer our condolences to the family and friends of Nkanyiso Mathamba and Chiefs for their loss, and may his soul rest in peace.
