PSL club signs a promising top striker

The transfer window may have closed two months ago, but clubs are still able to sign and register players who are free agents.

The likes of Simphiwe Tshabalala and others who are without clubs can still be signed and registered by any club in the PSL, as they don't need a transfer window to sign to any club that is interested in them.

Something that the Ga-Mphahlele, Limpopo-based club Baroka Football Club understands well, the club has signed a 22-year-old Tristan Nikitaridis from the University of Johannesburg.


The attacker who did not see any action for the first six games of the tournament, and with UJ through to the knockout stages Tristan was given a chance in a dead rubber match and grabbed it with both hands.

He scored two goals and assisted his teammate in a dead rubber match which saw him earn a starting birth in both semi-final and final of the competition, which was followed by a contract at Bakgakga ba meetse a plus.
