Hunt reveals why Chiefs did not sign this long-term target.

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has been revealing a lot of aspects about his time at the club and at a latter revealed why the club did not sign long-term target who is SuperSport United striker.

According to Gavin Hunt, Bradley Grobler was set to replace Samir Nurkovic at Amakhosi but the deal never materialized. Samir Nurkovic was due to leave Kaizer Chiefs and Gavin Hunt had targeted Bradley Grobler as his potential replacement.

The challenge was the transfer ban which the club were serving at that time. Kaizer Chiefs were not permitted to register new players at the club, instead they went with the option of renewing Nurkovic's contract. But if Chiefs were not under the transfer ban, they could have the wanted-away Nurkovic and replaced him with Bradley Grobler.

Kaizer Chiefs find themselves in a situation of potentially losing the Serbian striker as his contract is due to expire at the end of the season, and they would need to find his replacement if he doesn't renew.
