PSL declare new method in Kaizer Chiefs Case?

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has added another twist to Kaizer Chiefs' story.

The affiliation had penalized Amakhosi seven days prior after the team failed to respect two games in December against Cape Town City and Golden Arrows.

Due of Covid-19 cases in the club's town, supervisors urged that the club not play the games.

The association's new inspector, Zola Majavu, assumed responsibility for the Chiefs issue and accused the group of failing to respect two games.

The matter was set aside for the affiliation's DC hearing on January 21.

In any case, Majavu said that the matter had been postponed to a later date after Chiefs had submitted an application to SAFA's attention.

"We agreed that the subject could and should be postponed," Majavu stated.

He went on to say that they also agreed that schedules should be established so that the problem does not fall between the cracks.

They also agreed, according to Majavu, that the situation should be resolved as soon as possible before the season ends.
