Sfiso Ngobeni has been heavily linked with the a move to current DSTV Premiership champions, for the 2021/22 season. It was reported last month that the Bloemfontein Celtic defender had been identified by Sundowns management as one of their targets for next season.
According to Soccer-laduma the talks between Sundowns and Celtic are now at advanced stage with the deal almost done, depending on the player if he agrees personal terms with Sundowns.
Sundowns wants to continue boosting it's squad with young players, as they continue with their congested schedule, in continental football and local it's believed Sundowns have tabled a five-year offer for the 24-year-old.
Ngobeni had a successful season at Bloemfontein Celtic, he made 26 appearances in all competitions. If a deal is agreed on he will have to compete with the likes of Aubrey Modiba, Lyle Lakay and Tebogo Langerman in the left back position.
