The Cele family have provided updates of Thulani's situation and plans to try and bring him back home. Cele is believed to have been arrest in a foreign country in Georgia after he fell victim to a scam.
All Cele wanted was to try out for a club based in that country and hopefully land himself a deal but things turn out to a worst case scenario. Following their request for assistance, it has now been revealed that the South African government is willing to assist and they are looking for ways to bring him back home safe.
Thulani Cele has fallen into debts and got in trouble with a certain landlord over unpaid rent and this cost him his freedom and he is now kept in a foreign country with no one to come to his aid.
Further developments on this incident will continue to be updated as it progresses and hopefully Cele returns home safe and possibly pick uo hos soccer boots to have another go in football.
