There is always a big buzz whenever a player from Kaizer Chiefs, or Orlando Pirates is makes it to the news headlines as a result of the best performance they are displaying in the field of play when compared to the rest of the teams that participate in the Premier Soccer League. As we speak one player that is most spoken about right now is the Orlando Pirates Star striker Tshegofatso Mabasa, since he has come back from his injury he has started scoring goals fir the Buccaneers as he ought to.
The South African football universe has been watching Mabasa very close, and even former football players such as Benedict Tso Vilakazi they have been watching him and observing him since the 2021/22 football season has began. So far the 24 year old attacker has been a hero for the Buccaneers as he has scored in two consecutive matches, he scored a winning goal against Swallows FC as they won 1-0 against their neighbors, and Tshegofatso Mabasa scored an equalising goal for the Buccaneers when they win 3-1 against Chippa United.
This is a good record and motivation for the 24 year old Mabasa, this will give him the motivation he needs to score more goals in games to come and he can possibly contend for the top goal scorer position at the end of the season as long as he continues to score goals for his club. Vilakazi is convinced that Mabasa will score more goals for Orlando Pirates.
Tomorrow at Orlando Stadium the Buccaneers will be facing off against Mamelodi Sundowns in a DStv premiership encounter, and having already scored in two consecutive games Tshegofatso has every motivation he needs to score against the DStv Premiership champions. For the fact that a former Pirates player sees something special about Mabasa, this shows that surely he is a force to be reckoned with and besides Sundowns every other team might find themselves in trouble when they come face to face against Pirates this season.
