Opinion: Chelsea's predicted lineup team for the Carabao Cup match against Brentford

Chelsea, the reigning English Premier League champions, will be looking to avoid defeat when they go to Brentford in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday. The Blues have been outstanding in the English Premier League this season, but their recent performances have demonstrated why they may be eliminated from the league.

The Blues have won three of their previous four matches in all competitions, while drawing the other one. Chelsea, headquartered in West London, scored eleven goals while conceding only two to their opponent in the match.

During the most recent meeting between the teams, the Blues defeated Brentford, 1 - 0, due to a single goal from Ben Chilwell.

Against Brentford, Thomas Tuchel, the German and Chelsea head coach, will be aiming for a positive outcome in order to give his team a modest chance of winning a trophy this season.

Chelsea's head coach is also anticipated to announce a strong starting lineup for their critical match against Brentford on Tuesday night.

Goalkeeper

With the critical FA Cup encounter against Brentford approaching, the Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to return to the goal for the Bees.

Defenders

It is expected that the Chelsea center backs, which will include Cesar Azpilicueta, Malang Sarr, and Thiago Silva, will defend in a three-man formation, with Marcos Alonso and Reece James playing in the wing back positions.

Midfielders

N'golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic, among other senior midfielders, are expected to start against Brentford as a result of the absence of a number of periphery players.

Attackers

The likes of Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech are once again expected to spearhead the assault in a critical FA Cup meeting against Brentford for the third consecutive game.

Check out some of the possible lineups that may beat Brentford this midweek.
