Kaizer Chiefs have arguably the richest goalkeeper department and the question of who has better between them and Mamelodi Sundowns is a debate for another day.

With seniors like Itumeleng Khune and Daniel Akpeyi whom have much experience on offer, Kaizer Chiefs saw it fit to reinforce that department furthermore as they have confirmed the acquisition of Aubrey Tlali Mathibe.
Mathibe is a former goalkeeper himself and has been brought to the club to help share his knowledge on the department. Mathibe has been assigned to primarily fulfil the role of the reserve team goalkeeper coach.
Moreover, he will also be part of the senior side and will work with the likes of veterans Itumeleng Khune, Daniel Akpeyi, while also accomodating future stars of the team in Bruce Bvuma and Brandon Petersen.

on the senior team, Mathibe is expected to work alongside the head coach of the club Stuart Baxter.
