Kaizer Chiefs are continuing their great form in the Dstv Premiership as they have scored 6 goals in their last two fixtures. Kaizer Chiefs are currently playing against SuperSport United and the match is now in the second half, with Kaizer Chiefs leading the match 2-1. Kaizer Chiefs won their previous fixture against Chippa United 4-0 and they stand a chance of winning a consecutive fixture as the score stands at 2-1.
Kaizer Chiefs claimed the lead all thanks to Bernard Parker who scored two goals in the match with Keagan Dolly who scored two goals and aided one assist against Chippa United, assisted Bernard Parker's second goal against SuperSport United. Kaizer Chiefs kicked off with a 1-0 lead as Bernard Parker scored the opening goal in the 45+1 minute.
Kaizer Chiefs lost their lead as SuperSport United levelled the score in the 45+3 minute of the match as Njabulo Ngcobo scored an unfortunate own goal to level the score on 1-1 at the half-time break. In the early minutes of the second half of the match, Bernard Parker scored again to reclaim the lead for Kaizer Chiefs, when he found the back of the net in the 49th minute to lead at 2-1.
Kaizer Chiefs now has the advantage in the match with the 2-1 lead, and it would be phenomenal if Kaizer Chiefs can hold on for the win. There is still enough time left on the clock for more goals to be scored in the match, and Kaizer Chiefs would land the 5th place spot if they are to win the match at full-time.
