Kaizer Chiefs have had a great opportunity to strengthen their 2021/22 squad and they’re slowly starting to see their new places finding their feet within the club. This is something that Amakhosi have been looking for in the past couple of campaigns, as they’re working on different deadly combinations that will lead them back to glory days. Now, a former player Dennis Vukubi has warned other teams about the new Chiefs, especially their marquee signing Keagan Dolly. As he feels that he will inspire the team to continue winning games in the DStv Premiership. “You see that boy Dolly? Watch out for that boy,” said Vukubi talking to KickOff.com.
This was visible when Dolly scored a brace against Chippa United in the past weekend. That made fans see a different side of Chiefs as they won by 4-0 against Gavin Hunt’s men. Now, the Phefeni Glamour Boys will be looking at gaining their winning momentum as they play against the unpredictable SuperSport United at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday. This will be a challenging league encounter for Chiefs as they’ll face the undefeated Matsatsantsa as they battle for the maximum points and move to a better spot in the log standings.
Vukubi stated that Dolly brings something special within the Chiefs setup and Baxter is lucky to have a player of his caliber at his disposal. As he can make things happen out of nowhere, which is what Amakhosi needed for a long time. Dolly’s performance at Naturena will benefit his teammates such as Khama Billiat and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo to do their magic on the field. “Dolly has came at the right time. We really needed independent thinkers. The likes of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo will learn from that boy. Billiat is also coming back to life because of Dolly,” said Vukubi talking to KickOff.com.
