It's Confirmed Chiefs Have Pulled Out Of A Cup

It's confirmed Kaizer Chiefs refused to compete for a cup at this point we don't have all the details why we are not going to compete in the Mangosuthu Legacy Cup.

We have been signing players and we need pre-season to test our new players.

We have some of the biggest teams already in the competition Mamelodi Sundowns is one of those teams, they have won everything, and let's be honest we're trying to catch them it was going to be nice playing against them.

We have Amazulu who are on the rise in the Premier Soccer League, even the chairman has confirmed that when it comes to signing players they won't make any further signings.

I think the only weak team in the competition was Richards Bay, but I wouldn't underestimate those boys because they won the Glad Africa Championship last season that's how they gain promotion into the first division in the first place.

I don't know why we're refusing to play our fans are dying to see us play, we want to see the progress of our team if our latest signing is gelling with the rest of the squad.

It seems like we are going to wait a little while, but a well-known football journalist did state that soon he is going to find out why we pulled out of the competition.

I know for a fact that our team doesn't fear challenges, but at the beginning of the season, I want to see our players fit and ready. Most of our fans are going to agree with me facing Mamelodi Sundowns on paper is one of the big fixtures on paper.

We may no longer be competing for the Legacy Cup but I wish our rivals the best of luck who are left in the tournament.
