Mamelodi Sundowns has been the biggest team in the country over the last decade. They have completely dominated for seasons consistently and this can be attributed to their buying power. This is a club that has an abundance of talent in their squad and the depth is evident. They have also attracted a couple of brands and endorsements in recent times with the recent Roc Nation deal being one of the biggest in the country.
The goalkeeper line up emerged as the most important for Mamelodi Sundowns in lifting MTN trophy. This exposed the quality at disposal and it is amazing to see that each and every player can come through and do the job on the day. The critism the club is usually put under for buying the best players clearly works and they are beating their closest rivals in market.
Reyaad Pieterse has bagged himself a lucrative deal with a global brand that has some of the biggest athletes in the world. The star is on the same payroll as the likes of Connor McGregor as an athlete for Tidl Sport. This is a sports recovery company that focuses on a variation of treatments for sports stars and also sell products directly to customers.
They also offer services like cryotherapy so this definitely makes sense for a footballer. Reyaad Pieterse hasn't been getting as much game time as he would liked, however he always steps up to the plate whenever he is called upon. He recently got some game time in against Maritzburg United in the league and went on to secure a clean sheet for the club.
He made the bold move from Kaizer Chiefs to Mamelodi Sundowns and he has won trophies in that period. Whether it was the best move for him is arguable as he isn't guaranteed regular time with the likes of Dennis Onyango and Kennedy Mweene to compete with. He is currently 29 years old and this is considering young for a goalkeeper, however he has a future with Mamelodi Sundowns and could be part of the bigger plan in the future.
