Jabu Mahlangu is considered by many as one of the greatest players to feature for Kaizer Chiefs in the modern PSL era. Mahlangu during his heydays was known as Pule, a dribbling maestro who always changed the complicity of the game.
Although considered hugely talented, he often had numerous off the field and disciplinary issues in the past. Most of his troublesome behaviour was attributed to drinking alcohol.
Jabu Mahlangu is one of the few special players who have played for both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. During his illustrious career he also went to feature for Austrian side SV Mattersburg, Supersport United, Swedish side Osters IF, Platinum Stars and FC Cape Town. Mahlangu would retire from professional football in 2014 during his time with Supersport United.
Following his retirement from football, he was announced as the ambassador for Supersport United. He also secured a job as a soccer analyst with Supersport TV. During his footballing days, Mahlangu was a troublesome individual and as a result he decided to be a motivational speaker.
Throughout the years he was announced as the COPACoca Cola brand ambassador, presenter on MassivMetro and is also a voice over artist. Mahlangu has since turned a new lease on life and without a doubt he is a changed man, who is enjoying a comfortable living.
