5 Things Amakhosi Fans Should Expect This Week, Chiefs Might Lose At Home To Maritzburg - Zwane

Date: 08/08/2022

Kaizer Chiefs: This week, FIVE exciting things are coming up.

Mzansi is paying close attention to the new Kaizer Chiefs era, as it should. Here are five fun things we're looking forward to this week.

KAIZER CHIEFS START WITH DEFEAT

The Glamour Boys lost their first game against Royal AM, thanks to an early goal by Ricardo Nascimento, who used to play for Mamelodi Sundowns.

Still, the club has moved on and is now focusing on the exciting times ahead.

THIS WEEK, FIVE THINGS TO EXPECT

This week, there is more to look forward to and expect than just the game against Maritzburg United at FNB.

Check out the other things you should expect:

Edmilson Dove is expected to be announced as a new player after he was reportedly seen going for a medical test about a week ago.

The crowds at the club's home games at the FNB Stadium have been a source of shame for a long time. With eight new players, there should be more excitement at Soccer City, which should bring in more fans.

Five new players played in the first game. Tuesday's game could be a chance for more first-timers. We could see Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Lehlogonolo Matlou.

Last weekend, Amakhosi played a game away from home, so they wore their away kit. When the game on Tuesday is at the FNB Stadium, the new home kit will be worn for the first time.

The club's search for a new forward has been in the news a lot. Amakhosi are expected to give an update on their search for a striker before the end of the transfer window on September 22.
