Helman Mkhalele has named his last 23-man Bafana crew for the COSAFA Cup, which starts off the following week.
South Africa will begin the safeguard of their COSAFA Cup title against Mozambique in the quarter-finals on 13 July 2022.
Mkhalele will mentor the public side for the competition and he is very much aware of the danger presented by Mozambique, who they crushed 3-0 at a similar stage a year ago.
"At the point when you go to any competition as a mentor, you really want to ensure that you have chosen players who have the right mentality, demeanor and the eagerness to win," Mkhalele said, according to SAFA.net
"The primary game against Mozambique will be critical in light of the fact that this is a side we beat in last year's release on the way to the last.
"They will go into this bind with the expectations of avenging that loss and we can't let them. We are the reigning champs and our aim is go as far as possible in battling to guard our title."
