No three points for Chiefs on Sunday's Soweto Derby, Gavin Hunt

Chief wont play for 3 points on Sunday’s Soweto Derby, says Gavin Hunt

Personal pride will be the only thing Amakhosi will play for when they face rivals long-time rivals Orlando Pirates on Sunday. The pair will face off for the fourth time this season and Chiefs will be looking at redeeming themselves after suffering losses in all their last encounters.

The two teams come from different tales this season, Chiefs are languishing at the bottom of the log, while Pirates are contesting for the championship. A win over Pirates will definitely bring some confidence for Amakhosi, who are having the worst season in history.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt however bemoaned the fact that there are still no spectators allowed into the stands. This, he believes, has had a negative impact on his players as they do not have the cheering up and support they need on the field.

Chiefs will also be missing key players like Itumeleng Khune, who is self-isolating following the burial of his sister Mapula Khune over the weekend. He has missed Chiefs last three matches.

Leonardo Castro and Khama Billiat are injured and are said to be unavailable for selection.
