Fadlu Davids: Downs dominance, their financial power

Orlando Pirates co-coach Fadlu Davids believes that Pitso Mosimane built a massive squad at Sundowns, Fadlu noted that money is part of the deal that saw the Brazilians dominate the DSTV Premiership in the 2021 season.

The Tshwane based side have now won five straight games in a calendar year, in the process Mamelodi Sundowns have scored fourteen goals against the Sea Robbers who only scored twice.

Fadlu Davids

“I don’t think we have to really look into the amount of points that are ahead. We just have to try to win every game we play and keep progressing the team in terms of our development as a team,” - Fadlu Davids

“The Sundowns side has been built over over years. And you can see the continuity in terms of coach Pitso’s time. And there’s just continuity in terms of every window being able to strengthen seven, eight, plus players." - Fadlu Davids

Orlando Pirates next game in the DStv Premiership os on Monday where they play Marumo Gallants at Orlando Stadium (15h30).
