Former Kaizer Chiefs defender and captain Tefu Mashamaite has tipped his former side to turn things around in the near future after the appointment of Arthur Zwane as the head coach.

According to Goal South Africa, Tefu Mashamaite believes that the change of whole structure at Amakhosi was something that was needed by the club.
Kaizer Chiefs have now gone seven seasons without a silverware. However, they are now rebuilding the club under Arthur Zwane.
Tefu Mashamaite spoke to the media, raising his opinion about his former club.
The former club captain stated that he is not sure about Amakhosi challenging Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of the new season, however, he feels that the club really needed an overhaul and this is exactly what is happening right now.
Tefu believes that giving Arthur Zwane a chance to build the club for the long-term purposes might be the solution.
For now, Mashamaite thinks that it is still early for them to judge if Kaizer Chiefs made good or bad signings.
