Former Sundowns star says his move to Sundowns was almost a reality. He had a chat with Pitso while he was still at Celtics. Pitso wanted to know what was happening with his suitors it was towards the end of the season.
Pitso Mosinane told me to be patient as he was planning to lure me back to Sundowns said Wandisile Letlabika. The last time letlabika played for Sundowns was back in 2013, after the bio bubble I stayed behind in johannesburg instead of leaving with the Celtics.
I wanted to go back to Sundowns at that time to work with Mosimane . it was not about proving a point. I had improved in my game. I was now a better player than before.
I wanted to win some silver ware and take part in African competition. I was then told by my manager that I am going to Swallows. I was not even aware that the dube birds were back in top flight football.
I also received a call from a famous politician Gauteng MEC of Education Panyaza Lesufi swallows benefactor.
He did not waist time on the phone. He went straight to the point. He said to me we want you at Swallows to come and play for us.
I know there is plenty of suitors after your signature can we meet said Lesufi. I said to Lesufi can we meet tomorrow. He said no ways man please can we have a meeting today. Tomorrow it will be too late. He said, I will come to you. Were do want us to meet. I said ok lets meet at greenstone. We had a meeting afterwards it was the decision time Sundowns or Swallows. I believe I chose wisely. It was one of my best move. The club has a rich history. I wanted to be part of a rich history and legacy he said.
