A football player's career can be cut short due to delinquency towards his career and that's exactly what happened to the talented Masibusane Zongo.
The 30-year-old is one of the talented sensations that took the PSL by storm with his dazzling skills and slick passes which made him a fan favourite around the country.
The Kasi Flava specialist enjoyed spells at Supersport United, Platinum Stars, Bidvest Wits and Chippa United in the PSL. He was so talented that he was recalled by English giants Tottenham Hotspur but he too is a victim of the green bottle.
Last year the winger was released by TTM after he went AWOL. He supposedly asked for leave days so he can sort out his family issues but he decided to take more days than intended by the club. He was later released by the club for his unethical behaviour.
Zongo joins the list of players who had so much potential to become one of the greatest players in South African football but his inability to instil ethics to his career had a negative impact on his life in general as he's now without a club.
Do you think if he had showed some discipline maybe he could've represented any of the Soweto giants? Please share your views and opinions below.
