Chippa United have climbed the top of the DStv premiership log table.
The Chilli boys secured a point at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday evening against the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
The game started slow as both teams did not create much chances.
However in the 27th minutes Sundowns got a chance but Peter Shalulile was off target.
5 minutes later Aubrey Modiba attempted a shot from a long range but did not get in.
Both teams entered the halftime with a a goallles draw.
In the second half, 50th minutes Shalulile hit the target but Chippa unites goalkeeper Rashid Watenga made a tremendous save to deny the visitors a goal.
Gaston Sirino who came from the bench tried a long range in the 66th minutes but it went wild.
Sundowns continued pressing for an opener as the time was running out but unfortunately no team managed to score and the game ended with a goalless draw.
Both teams are on 4 points each and the Chilli boys are on top of the log table after securing maximum points against Sekhukhune United on Saturday.
