Kaizer Chiefs Has Been joined By Two Rivals In The Chase Of This PSL Top Striker?

If Kaizer Chiefs are to catch Sibusiso 'Vila' Vilakazi, they may have to boost the ante. According to reports, the 32-year-old offensive midfielder is also being pursued by SuperSport United and AmaZulu.

Vilakazi is a target at Naturena, as previously reported by The South African. According to new rumors, SuperSport and Durban heavyweights AmaZulu have both mentioned the player's name in their offices.

"In their pursuit of Mamelodi Sundowns' Sibusiso Vilakazi, Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United are expected to be joined by AmaZulu FC," Soccer Laduma wrote in their newest issue.

"As Siya revealed in December, Chiefs had made preliminary inquiries on the Sundowns attacker's availability, with the player's future at Chloorkop in doubt."

"His consistent lack of game time has cast suspicion on him," the publication claimed.

"Subsequently, SuperSport entered the picture, with reports claiming last month that the club was considering bringing him on board.

"According to reports, Vilakazi has been identified as a possible successor for Siyethemba Sithebe, who will be leaving the Durban-based club to join Chiefs at the conclusion of the season after signing a pre-contract with them," the report continued.

The report came to a conclusion by confirming a serious roadblock. Sundowns has the contract of the Meadowlands native until 2024. This means that a transfer price will need to be negotiated and agreed upon.

When things aren't going well at big clubs, Kaizer Chiefs are looking forward to a truly crucial transfer window.

Mike Makaab, Kearyn Baccus' agent, has stated that the 30-year-old midfielder is sought in Mzansi.

Despite the fact that the Durban-born star grew up in Australia, he has only made nine appearances this season, he is a fan favorite. But why is that? When Baccus is on the ball, he is simply stunning, and Mzansi fans like a delicate touch. The complete story can be found here.
