Willard Katsande receives much needed advice about the construction industry

Making a living as a PSL footballer is difficult enough on its own. However, some footballers have managed to deliver on the field off play and also diversify their income streams by venturing into business.

When these professionals are not making millions on the pitch, they also have one eye on the future.

A secured future is guaranteed for former Kazier Chiefs star midfielder Willard Katsande as he is now one of the recognised faces in the world of business. The legendary footballer has his finger in a number of pies : launching his own clothing brand Bosso Ya Mboka and his own construction company Katsande Partners.

His construction company is one of the fast growing as it is paving its way in the industry as they keep landing lucrative contracts. With vast years of experience as a footballer the same cannot be said about his experience in the construction industry. On any given day the Mutoko born footballer is always dressed to the nines even during his construction visits as he is always looking darper even in work gear.

On Monday Willard Katsande took to IG to unveil his niece as a supervisor of Katsande Partners. From the word go his fans and followers went to congratulate the new recruits but some went to notice something that raised concerns. A number of people who took to the platform went to give the Sekhukhune United midfieder much needed advice about safety as his niece was spotted wearing regular sneakers instead of safety boots.

By browsing through his IG account we also also able to see that Katsande and his wife, Bonga Miya, have also on a number of times been spotted without their safety boots during construction sites visits. What we can say is that the 36 year old footballer is still learning the ropes in the construction industry but safety is very much key.
