Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter makes recommendations about Njabulo Ngcobo

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter has outlined the various roles that the versatile Njabulo Ngcobo could fulfil following his arrival from Swallows during the off-season.Since being crowned the Defender of the Season for the 2020/2021 season, Ngcobo is yet to secure a regular role in his favoured position for Chiefs under Baxter.

With Baxter preferring the experienced pairing of Daniel Cardoso and Mulomowandau Mathoho so far this season.I don't think he did a bad job at Bafana, absolutely not. I certainly thought there were players that were worse than him, absolutely.I do think you can look at him either as a centre-back or as a defensively strong central midfielder. He is versatile enough to play both of those positions.

Mathoho is lacking now when it comes to pace and decisions making, his confidence is questionable when it comes to one on one situation. For any player to improve they have to settle in a particular position/role.Just play Ngcobo at centre-back, let him grow in it and master it.

He deserves much more than to be a stop-gap player for Christ's sake Eish these European plumbers and changing players' positions.Swallows is swallows and chiefs is chiefs,Ncqobo has to listen what the coach told him, many players has change the position depends of the plan of the coach.

just watch Bloem he can play whatever the coach wants him even frosler can play left or right i remember even Gordoso was a striker before but now a defender even in the middle he used to play stop putting pressure to Ncqobo.
