Valledupar played their latest fixture in the Categoria Primera B against Bogota FC and managed to win the match 6-0 at full-time. Valledupar's win is all thanks to Carlos Rivas and Gianfranco Pena scored the 6 winning goals in the match. Carlos Rivas scored 4 of the 6 match goals as Gianfranco Pena scored the other remaining 2 goals in the match. Valledupar won a valuable three points form the match win as they picked up a clean sheet in the process. Valledupar after the 6-0 win managed to extend their lead in top of the Primera B table with 4 points as they now sit on 15 points in first place with Huila in second place on 11 points on the table.
Valledupar opened the scoring in the early 15th minute when Gianfranco Pena scored as they lead the match 1-0. Carlos Rivas scored his first goal just four minutes later in the 19th minute as Valledupar leads the match 2-0. Five minutes later Rivas managed to complete his brace of goals in the 24th minute to lead 3-0. Carlos Rivas completed his hat trick in the 45th minute as Valledupar leads the match 4-0 at the half time break. Gianfranco Pena scored his brace of goals in the 47th minute as he extendes the lead to 5-0. Carlos Rivas scored his fourth goal in the 58th minute as Valledupar won the match 6-0 in the end as Bogota left empty handed.
