It's public knowledge that the superstar we see today, will someday retire and make way for the youngsters to step up and continue with the good work. This announcement came as a curve ball because no one was expecting his retirement anytime soon.
The former Polokwane city and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila goalkeeper, Bongani Manavhela, has announced that he will be hanging his boots and putting all of his time and effort into his music career. This decision comes after looking at the financial woes that his TTM team is currently in.
" I wanted to continue playing but what can you do when the situation is like This. I am grateful that God gave a football talent and a singing talent, so right I am going to use my talent to put bread on the table", said the now retired player.
Bongani has a lot of footballing experience, and he could have been an excellent addition to any team in the PSL league. He hopes that he could make a comeback sometime later, as he is still young and still has some best years in his body; but only God knows what the future has in store for him.
We would like to wish him goodluck on his future endeavors, we hope that his music career will bear good fruits and that he thrives to his fullest abilities.
