Pirates and Chiefs new signings struggling to challenge Sundowns

When the transfer window closed for July/August there were lot of talks of which team made the best signings. Many people felt like Kaizer Chiefs made the best signings followed by Orlando Pirates. On field results has proven otherwise as the Brazilians' new signings have been ruling. New Mamelodi Sundowns signings have hit the ground running after adapting to new life quickly. Kaizer Chiefs new signings are starting to find their feet slowly. Orlando Pirates signings Kwame Peprah and Olisa Ndah have been noticeable signings for the club as they are showing signs of why Orlando Pirates invested in them.

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates player Benson Mhlongo feels that the Soweto giants signings are being outperformed by the Chloorkop side. He told that "The new signings at Chiefs are starting to impress by giving the team results. At Pirates, I'm impressed with the Kwame Peprah and the centre-back Ndah. At Sundowns it's a tricky one because when Sundowns sign a player they give him time to understand the system and the lifestyle. Then gradually they play him, it's not about him making an impact but it's about him fitting the puzzle. So it's a different ball game altogether when it comes to Sundowns. I can't say Pirates and Chiefs' signings have done well because they are struggling to challenge Sundowns." Which team do you believe really made the best signings?
