Bobby Motaung, the Kaizer Chiefs football manager, has disclosed Arthur Zwane's new head coach's mandate.

After the retirement of Stuart Baxter, Amakhosi appointed former Chiefs winger Zwane as their new interim head coach.
Zwane is well-versed with the club's culture, having previously served as temporary manager following the departure of Gavin Hunt.
Dillon Sheppard will serve as Zwane's assistant coach, who is 48 years of age.

Motaung said the two young coaches have been given the responsibility of winning trophies for the 2022/23 season and that the club will be patient with them. Motaung made his comments during a press conference held at FNB Stadium on Thursday morning.

I think we lost in the Champions League final because we had Arthur and Dillon on our team, and that's a good thing," stated Motaung.
As for the club's fans, he said they want to see something to break their seven-year trophy drought, and he added that the coaches are aware of those problems.

Furthermore, the two new instructors join a system that has been in place for a long time and Motaung stressed that it was a continuity.
