I Was Forced To Sign A Contract: Former Chiefs Star

Joseph Molangoane is one of the few players who had the opportunity, to play for both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in his football career.

Its now hard to imagine that Molangoane was almost released by Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila, without playing any match. When the club announced that him and former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Oupa Manyisa we're released Manyisa eventually left the club.

The veteran attacker has since now established himself, as one of the most important players in Marumo Gallants. Although he struggled for regular game time at the start of the 2021/22 season. The arrival of Dan Malesela has seen him get regular game time. He played a huge role in helping the club avoid relegation.

Molangoane contract with Marumo Gallants will expire in June, but he says he is not worried about what will happen, as he does not worry about off-field decisions. But he says Gallants will get first priority.

Let me tell you a story about when i left Chippa United to join Chiefs i was doing well. I got a call my agent Tshepo Mabona and said he wants to talk to me, at the time Chippa came with a contract. I was forced to sign. When i refused i was chased out of camp. So what i'm saying is when i play i don't even think about such things, Molangoane told Soccer-laduma.
