SPURS Land Third Signing After Radiopane & Daniels.

In preparation for the next 2022–2023 Motsepe Foundation Championship season, Cape Town Spurs have successfully completed the signing of experienced midfielder Michael Morton.

Morton, who is 33 years old, has been recruited by the Urban Warriors as they continue their search for experienced players who have already demonstrated their ability to compete at the DStv Premiership level.

Morton joins the group as their third new member, following in the footsteps of Boitumelo Radiopane and Clayton Daniels, a former academy student who came to the club for one more dance when he was 37 years old.

After scoring 24 goals in the DStv Diski Challenge during the previous season, the young prodigy playing for Orlando Pirates is being hailed as the upcoming superstar of South African football.

Morton, meanwhile, is also a product of the Buccaneers and is starting his 14th year in professional football. He has had stints with Bidvest Wits, Maritzburg United, and AmaZulu, among other teams.
