Will Kaizer Chiefs Finally Sign This Player?

The club confirmed on Monday that Sao Tome international Jardel Nazare is preparing at their famed Naturena Training Village, fueling speculation that Kaizer Chiefs have effectively begun with plans to support their squad for the following season.

According to Soccer Laduma, the highly rated left-back is undergoing a trial at Naturena, with hopes of becoming the club's first signing following their FIFA move boycott.

Nazare is currently unattached, and the Glamor Boys would dive for him on a Bosman deal with no exchange fees.

Amakhosi fans may have been perplexed by the club's pursuit of a player whose background is sketchy to say the least.

In any event, Nazare got his start in Portugal, where he was born, and Chiefs management had the opportunity to see him in action against Bafana in recent AFCON qualifiers.

Nazare's possible appearance might jeopardize the futures of several Chiefs players, with speculation swirling that Siphosethu Ntiya and Yagan Sasman may encounter the exit door.

Furthermore, the team currently has more than 5 unfamiliar players in excess of the PSL needed quantity, which means one of the unfamiliar players should leave to create room for the new star.

According to reports, Swallows FC left-back Sifiso Hlanti will join Chiefs to reunite with his former coach Gavin Hunt.
