Could Kaizer Chiefs Be Looking At Signing This Young Ex Stellenbosch FC Striker? See Who It Is.

Kaizer Chiefs search for another recognised number 9 has seen the club currently unable to sign more after signing Stellenbosch fc striker Ashley Du Preez 2 months back.

With the club having replaced their experienced strikers last month namely, Lazarous Kambole, Leonardo Castro and Samir Nurkovic. The club are now thin upfront heading into the new season.

According to KickOff magazine, Chiefs are looking interested in signing former Stellenbosch young striker Fuad Johnson. The 19 years old striker who is currently a free agent after leaving Stellenbosch last month, after failing to agree a deal with the Cape side.

According to KickOff magazine, the striker played in a friendly game against the Chiefs senior team this past weekend. Johnson who was part of the Stellenbosch Diski Challenge team that won the title last season.

He was the club's top goalscorer in the reserve league as he scored 11 goals to give his club the title. His good performances though in the reserve league were not enough for him to get more opportunities in the first team, as he only played 4 times.

Chiefs are not the only top club interested in the player with the likes of Supersport United, Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns all rumoured to be interested in young striker, at the moment Chiefs are the favourites to land Johnson, as they look to improve their attacking options.
